Manor Grove’s maintenance crew was rewarded at April 6th’s council meeting for their exceptional care of the grounds, especially the trees, here at Manor Grove. A beautiful plaque was presented to Ross Barrale, Director of Facilities, by the City of Kirkwood Urban Forestry Commission for the great efforts put forth in keeping these historical, and beautiful trees healthy and blooming. With the wide variety of foliage all over the grounds, this can be no small task, but Ross, along with his assistant Leo Thomas and techs Jim Prince, Darryl McKnuckles and Bob Karajic, all work very hard and if you have ever been by Manor Grove and taken the time to really look at the grounds, it shows! If you are a nature lover, come by Manor Grove and check out their hard work, and their well deserved reward for it!
