"Saying “THANK YOU” to you and staff doesn’t seem to be enough. I feel everyone’s commitment, concern, compassion and support during Janet’s stay was outstanding…“Love gives meaning to our lives, as do friendship and faith. These are important to true happiness, inner peace, harmony and meaning to existence. MANOR GROVE “PEOPLE” gave all and more. THE TWO MOST POWERFUL WORDS IN THE WORLD: “THANK YOU.”
Best Regards"

"On behalf of my family, I want to express our most sincere gratitude and appreciation for the professional treatment and personal care provided by Manor Grove personnel for my wife, Marilee Lewis. Everyone treated her with great respect and kindness.
In addition to the above general commendation, there are employees who deserve special mention. They are Sandra Masic, Allison Lee, and Jennifer Lankford. All of these ladies gave special recognition and consideration to the fact that Marilee was partially paralyzed, unable to speak or write, and was therefore helpless and totally dependant on others for care.
Sandra was most gracious in providing accurate answers to our many questions and ensuring that everything possible was being done to prevent any discomfort to Marilee. Her professional abilities and performance as a nurse were outstanding and merit the envy of her peers.
Both Allison and Jennifer were especially thoughtful and caring while performing their duties. Many small things, such as talking to her while knowing full well that she could not reply, sometimes generating a little smile from her, and even stopping by her room on their way home after completing their work shift just to check on her and talk with us for a few minutes were greatly appreciated.
Manor Grove is extremely fortunate in having these employees on the staff. I request and sincerely hope you will make them aware of this letter’s content and provide them the appropriate recognition they so richly deserve.
Again, please accept our heartfelt thanks."

"Saying "THANK YOU" to you and staff doesn't seem to be enough. I feel everyone's commitment, concern, compassion and support during Janet's stay was outstanding. Manor Grove was not home, but it was close because my beloved wife was well taken care of, safe and comfortable. In addition, to personal care and respect provided, I was heard when making requests and suggestions; yes, everyone actually listened. The small task of listening is such an important part when I needed to be heard.
Love gives meaning to our lives, as do friendship and faith. These are important to true happiness, inner peace, harmony and meaning to existence. MANOR GROVE "PEOPLE" gave all and more.
THE TWO MOST POWERFUL WORDS IN THE WORLD: "THANK YOU."
Best regards,"

"I cannot express adequately the thankfulness I have in my heart towards some of the staf at Manor Grove. My mom was lovingly and respectfully cared for during the 2+ years she lived there. Many of the CNA'S and the RN’S ministered both to my mom and to me – and for that I am thankful!"

"At 91, dad couldn’t live alone any longer. Then we found Manor Grove. It reminds me of a southern mansion with cheery surroundings and all the home-like touches. Dad loves it.
He chose his own private room where he can control the temperature himself. He even has his own refrigerator in his room and loves sitting on the front porch. Dad deserves the kind of respect and care he gets at Manor Grove. That’s what makes Manor Grove special. Dad still gets his independence, yet Manor Grove is around 24/7 to provide the care he needs."

"Joanna lived independently for 99 years, then made her own decision last year to move to Manor Grove. In her earlier years, she helped raise 4 stepchildren, had a dressmaking business in New York and once taught 1st grade. To this day, my mother knows quality. That’s why she loves living at Manor Grove. With the care, the dignity, the respect, the familiar staff, the stimulating activities and the good food, her quality of life continues."

"Our family appreciated the loving care given to my cousin Dorothy Barthels. Dorothy always looked forward to visits from the aides and nurses who cared for her because many of them would even come to say good-bye to her when they left for the day. Manor Grove is a homey pleasant place, and we feel satisfied with our choice. I would recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in need of this service."

Thank you again."

"Manor Grove is a 1st class facility from the top down. It is not only well managed, but also well staffed. You have a very special place and we are grateful that Mom was able to live there. The staff was so kind and caring and it was evident that Mom was well taken care of. That was a great comfort to us, her children."

"When dad needed more care, I looked no further than Manor Grove. My great-grandmother and my grandmother lived here. The care, the personal attention and all the wonderful activities have helped my dad live a quality life."
