The Manor Grove, Omnicycle™ Therapeutic Exercise System’s unique design facilitates upper and lower extremity exercise in three separate "motor-assisted" modes including "Assisted" (full motor-assist with a low level of patient participation), "Active- Assist" (partial motor-assist with active patient participation) and "Active" (no motor-assist with full patient participation). The system shifts between these modes as it detects varying levels of patient participation.
The Omnicycle™ has been designed with a number of special features that accommodate the complex medical needs of aging adults such as direct wheelchair access, heart rate indicator, spasticity detection and voice command emergency "stop."
In addition, the system includes a color screen and integrated biofeedback function to help motivate patients and guide their exercise efforts to help regain normal function, including the normalization of left-right deficits. The Omnicycle™ produces a
Summary Report at the end of each training session to track patient progress and support documentation needs. The Omnicycle™ also offers a protocol-use recording function to monitor utilization.
